Wildlife Conservation.. It's Our Business
Little is known about the Taman Safari Indonesia Groups complete mission and what we really do. Being awarded many times as the premier leading amusement park in Indonesia, we also are committed to our relentless dedication and commitment towards wildlife education & conservation; this is what truly sets us apart from rest.

“We don’t just talk about …WE DO IT!” is much more than a catchphrase, it’s true and even though we go about our business quietly, wildlife conservation is our business!

Success can be measured in many ways and Bali Safari & Marine Park  are proud to be the voice promoting the great  conservation work of Taman Safari with many Indonesian wildlife species being their main focus such as Sumatran Elephant, Sumatran Tiger and closer to home, the beautiful  Bali Mynah that was near extinction in 2005.

Bali Safari is focused towards the education and conservation of the Bali Mynah or Leucopsar rothschildi as this bird species can only be found in this part of Indonesia and nowhere else in the world. Bali Mynah is endemic to Bali and sadly is also critically endangered due to habitat loss and poaching for the illegal caged-bird trade.

Wildlife Education at the park is cleverly presented in many fun and exciting ways. “Our focus is to develop new and interesting ways to educate our visitors, tourists and students alike and aim to entertain, engage, empower and educate our many visitors  to the importance of wildlife conservation and caring for our environment” said Wendy Husband – Education & Conservation Manager at the park.

“We also run a really exciting program called ‘Safari Goes to School’ and recently while on a study tour of the Komodo Dragon in Flores, we also went to visit a local school in Labuan Bajo”, Flores, Wendy said. This program takes the wonders of wildlife into the classroom, as the expert wildlife educators from Bali Safari & Marine Park invite students into the interesting world of wildlife.

Indonesia is home to many unique and remarkable animals and with Taman Safari at the frontline of wildlife  conservation, ensuring the amazing wildlife of this region are preserved for  future generations to enjoy, next time you visit one of the Taman Safari parks, make sure you take a moment to think about all the wonders that we are so fortunate to have in Indonesia and know that part of your entry fee will go towards saving some of the rare and endemic animal species that call Indonesia home.
